Finn’s 3rd Birthday Party
Here’s the scoop, party planning is just about as southern as sweet tea, and this Southern girl loves to throw a party. All of my favorite reasons to celebrate involve lots of love. It all started when my husband and I got married in Charleston, South Carolina. There was no stressed out bride to be here! I couldn’t get enough of the planning process. Now, I absolutely love throwing parties to celebrate the births of my littlest love, Finn and Ada.
Dolls, this momma business can be so bittersweet. I love watching them grow and seeing all of the new things they learn every day, but on the other hand…where did my babies go? It all happens so fast. So, yes, I can tend to go a little over board with their birthday parties, but celebrating our kiddos with our nearest and dearest is all worth it. We celebrated Finn’s 3rd birthday party at 80/20 Malt Shoppe at Kaelin’s in Louisville. It has that darling old fashion ice cream parlor style, complete with black and white checkered flooring and the cutest décor.
I saw something on Instagram the other day that said “If Paw Patrol doesn’t rescue it, Sesame Street doesn’t sing it or a Mystery Mousekatool can’t fix it, then I have no idea what you’re talking about.” Y’all that first part hit close to home! We are a Paw Patrol loving house! So you can just about imagine the look on Finn’s face when he saw Chase walk in!
All in all, the day was as sweet as the ice cream. Here’s to hoping all Finn’s birthday wishes come true.
Cheers, Dolls.
