What is it about Southern girls and leopard print? There is just something in that sweet Southern sass that lives for a good (but a little wild) pattern. Personally, Dolls, I think that’s just it – it’s just the right amount if wild! To me, leopard print is as much a neutral as black or taupe. Always has been, always will be. When I realized that my favorite wild neutral was going to be the leading pattern of the fall and winter…I couldn’t wait to stock up on Dress & Dwell looks! And selfishly, I couldn’t wait to see how many different outfits I could sneak leopard into!
Here’s the beauty, Y’all…it doesn’t matter if your style is preppy, edgy, conservative or full on glam, there’s a perfect leopard look for you! Watch, I’ll prove it with the help of a few of my absolute favs from this season!
This first look is a baby step (no pun intended) into using leopard as a neutral. Tossing on a pair of perfect leopard flats with any pair of jeans is an easy way to experiment with the trend and add an unexpected pop to the entire look!
This skirt is kind of the perfect piece for any and all holiday parties! From summer into fall we were head over heels for the front button corduroy skirt, this leopard number is the perfect variation of that trend! It’s beautiful and edgy with an otherwise all black outfit, but we’ve always been pairing it with red, and it’s pretty major!
This is for the leopard print graduate…the animal print savant. This is a full on nosedive into everything that makes leopard print amazing! I cannot remember the last time I fell for a coat this hard. Something about the print and the fluff; it’s impossible to have a bad day when you’re wearing this coat! You can pick it up here!
